Difference in the Tailpipe Particle Number by Consideration of Sub-23-nm Particles for Different Injection Settings of a GDI Engine
Together with the Eastbavarian Technical University of Regensburg we readjusted a raw gas particle counter, so that it measured particles from the size of 10 nm instead of 23 nm. With both settings a GDI engine was measured and the results were compared to the results of a transmission electron microscope and an SMPS. It was published as part of the Combustion Generated Nanoparticles Conference 2018 of the ETH Zürich.
On the conference “Munich Calibration Day” hosted by the esz AG a presentation on the basics of the calibration of condensation particle counters was given (German).
